At the AMF stand, the government officials showed interest in the products and solutions from AMF as well as in their commitment and experiences in India.

"We very much enjoyed the visit of Winfried Kretschmann at our stand," says Johannes Maier, the managing partner of AMF in Fellbach. Together with the Minister of Economic Affairs, Nicole Hofmeister-Kraut, and several secretaries of state, the politicians visited in the course of a one-week delegation trip the 18th Imtex in Bangalore, a trade fair for machine tools and metalworking. The topic "Innovative technologies – solutions for machine building and automobile production" was a key issue of the trip. "This is where Baden-Wurttemberg's traditional strengths and innovation lies. In India, the demand for motor vehicles is growing constantly. The issue of electromobility is very popular here," explained the Minister President. The Baden-Württemberg players from machinery and plant construction as well as the automotive industry are very welcome in India.

AMF has been represented in India since 2006

AMF has been represented with a subsidiary in India since 2006 and offers its products and solutions to a growing number of customers. "Automation, rationalisation and productivity increases are equally discussed in India as in Europe", confirms Maier.
