FOCUS OPEN 2020 GOLD

In the metalworking industry in particular, a screw jack is used mostly to fix very massive workpieces safely, precisely and in a way that is easy to assemble. The screw jack submitted by AMF convinced the jury because of its high precision, flexibility and easy handling.

Even though it is a purely technical product that also has to be extremely robust and resilient, the jury particularly praised the idea of ​​modularity, which the developers have solved very well technically.

The Focus Open, state award of Baden-Württemberg, is one of the few non-commercial design awards with an international perspective in Germany, which annually and transparently rewards forward-looking designs in terms of design, innovation and sustainability. If possible, the original of each product submitted is presented to the jury for evaluation.

The winners of the FOCUS OPEN 2020 were honoured in mid-October 2020 as part of a (somewhat different) ceremonial award. The original award-winning exhibits can be seen in the Ludwigsburg MIK Museum, Information, Kunst until 22.11.2020.

There will definitely be a yearbook again, too! Accompanying the exhibition is the extensive exhibition catalogue, which presents all of the award-winning products in German and English. High-quality images and detailed product descriptions are complemented by the lively comments of the jury members.
