Whether it's prices and terms, delivery times and availability, or shipping and costs – we answer the most frequently asked questions here. Here you will also find information about billing and delivery addresses and receipts.
1. Ordering
1. I am a private person. Can I place an order in the AMF online shop?
Our offer is aimed exclusively at commercial customers. However, private persons can place orders via our retail partners.
2. Is my connection to the AMF online shop secure?
Yes. Our website uses modern security standards and SSL encryption to protect your data.
3. As a new customer, can I place an order immediately or do I need to be activated first?
Once you have registered, you can place your order immediately. If you are already a customer, we will link your shop account to our internal system and subsequently confirm your known prices and conditions. If you have not been a customer of ours before, we will create a new account for your company and send you an order confirmation. This initial setup usually takes place within one working day.
4. Do I have to create a customer account to place an order in the AMF online shop?
Yes. To place an order in the AMF online shop, you need online shop access. As an existing AMF customer without online shop access or as a new customer, you can easily register. To do so, click on Register now and create your new account. You can then place an order in the AMF online shop immediately. Our AMF online shop is exclusively for business customers.
5. How do I order multiple items at once in the AMF online shop?
If you already have a customer account and would like to order multiple items, you can quickly add the items one after the other in the ‘Quick order’ section, entering the item number and quantity. Alternatively, you can also copy items to your shopping basket via a CSV upload. You can find more details on this in the Quick order section.
6. Is there a minimum order quantity surcharge in the AMF online shop?
No, there is no minimum order quantity surcharge in the AMF online shop.
7. How can I change or cancel a current order?
Please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. As long as your order has not yet been dispatched, we will try to check whether it can be changed or cancelled.
8. Can I also order by telephone or email?
Of course. Our sales team is also available by telephone or email. You can find the right contact person here. However, you benefit from shorter processing times in the AMF online shop.
9. Are all products from the AMF catalogue also available in the AMF online shop?
Yes, our online shop includes the complete standard AMF range and therefore all items listed in the catalogue. If you cannot find the item you are looking for, please contact us directly – we will be happy to help you personally.
10. What does it mean when a product is listed as ‘on request’?
‘On request’ means that we first need to clarify the availability or technical specifications for this item. We will contact you as soon as possible after receiving your enquiry.
11. Can I order an item that is not listed in the catalogue?

12. What delivery and payment terms apply at AMF?
You can find the delivery and payment terms under T&C or in your customer account under Terms and Conditions.
2. Prices and conditions
1. Why can't I see any prices in the AMF online shop?
Users who are not registered or logged in cannot see prices. Prices are only visible to registered users.
2. What prices will I see immediately after registering?
Immediately after registering, you will see the AMF list prices for all product groups.
3. When will I see my individual purchase prices?
As soon as your user account is linked to your customer number, you will see your purchase prices on a net basis. Discounts and customer-specific prices are taken into account..
4. Where can I view my terms and conditions?
You can view your delivery terms, payment terms and payment method in your customer account in the terms and conditions section.
3. Delivery time and availability
1. Will I receive immediate information about availability?
Yes, the AMF online shop indicates on the product page whether an item is available, has limited availability or is available on request. This information initially refers to quantity 1 and serves as a rough guide for all users, regardless of whether they are logged in or not.
2. When will I receive a more precise delivery time information?
After you have logged in and added the item in the desired quantity to your shopping basket, you will see a more precise, but still estimated, delivery time in your shopping basket. This depends on your quantity and the desired delivery date.
3. Is the delivery time shown guaranteed?
No, the information in the AMF online shop is only an estimate. You will receive the actual confirmed date with your order confirmation.
4. Can I request express delivery?
No, express delivery is unfortunately not possible via the AMF online shop.
4. Shipping and costs
1. What costs are charged?
We charge shipping costs depending on your delivery terms.
2. How are shipping costs calculated?
The actual shipping costs are displayed during the ordering process depending on the weight and location or country.
3. What shipping methods can I choose?
Only standard shipping via UPS is available through the AMF online shop.
4. When are the shipping costs not displayed directly?
If the weight exceeds 70 kg or if we do not have freight costs for the destination country, ‘plus shipping costs’ will be displayed.
5. Are there any surcharges (e.g. minimum quantity surcharge)?
No, the AMF online shop does not charge any direct cost surcharges or small quantity surcharges.
6. Can I track my shipment?
If the goods are shipped via UPS, you can view the tracking number directly and will be redirected to UPS and the shipment data via a link.
7. Is it possible to collect the goods myself?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to collect goods yourself.
5. Addresses and receipts
1. Can I view my addresses in the AMF online shop?
In the AMF online shop, you can view the billing address and all delivery addresses stored for your customer number.
2. How can I change my billing address?
You can request a change to your billing address via the AMF online shop. To do this, click on the ‘Request address change’ button. The change will only be transferred back to the AMF online shop and become available there once we have made the change in our system.
3. How do I change a delivery address?
Delivery addresses can be changed temporarily in the AMF online shop and transferred to an order or a purchase order. To do this, click on the ‘Request address change’ button. We will receive an email notification at the same time. Please note that the delivery address will only be permanently changed once we have updated it in our system.
4. What documents can I view in the AMF online shop?
In the AMF online shop, you can view quotations, orders, delivery notes and invoices.
5. Can I download documents?
Yes, the original document can be downloaded as a PDF file.
6. Can I filter my documents?
Yes, you can filter by document number, order date and order number.
